The Spanish EMN NCP is composed of seven experts from four Ministries (of Labour and Immigration, of Interior, for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and of Justice) and is coordinated by the Permanent Observatory for Immigration, a collegial body attached to the Ministry of Labour and Immigration.
The Observatory has the following functions:

data collection,

analysis and exchange of information on matters concerning aliens,

immigration and asylum,
-
promotion and dissemination of studies and reports related to immigration.
The Observatory is also in charge of the elaboration of the Statistical Yearbook of Immigration that offers detailed statistical information on multiple aspects of the foreign population residing in Spain.
